Hannah Fray’s work consistently uses portraiture to
explore the characteristics of the person
by fragmentation of the image.
Embossed portraits in various materials that
allow the lines and contours to exhibit a hidden sensuality.
More recent work becoming more sculptural she contends to
focus on the homeless and certain phobias.
Having recently completed the Beffardo drawing scholarship
at John Moores University School of Art and Design in Liverpool she will
shortly begin 2 years as an associate member of the Royal Society of
Painters and Printmakers in London.
